Removing Blood Stains

Ok, as you may be able to tell, I like to find ways to combat stains. Some people really despise doing the laundry and would rather wash dishes...I am the opposite; I truly dislike doing dishes and would rather fight stains in the laundry.

Trying to find some way to make chores bearable, I turn laundry into a challenge of Reisha versus the stain…and I don’t like to lose.

Although I thought it was common knowledge, the use of hydrogen peroxide to remove blood stains is unknown to many people. The key is to catch the stain early. Putting hydrogen peroxide directly on a fresh blood stain erases it almost instantly!

This is especially helpful for items on which you can’t use bleach. Of course, always test a small area first, particularly on deep or dark colors. Just make sure your item is colorfast before applying the peroxide.
